A natural hair soap should not be used in conjunction with industrial hair products, as these contain many synthetic additives and can hinder the natural regeneration process by causing the hair cuticles to clump together. If using only the hair soap to wash your hair, you can, if necessary, prepare an acidic rinse by adding a tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar to a glass of lukewarm water, massaging it into wet hair, and then rinsing it out. This will help to seal the hair cuticles and give it added shine.

The citric acid in the formula prevents limescale buildup when washing hair, therefore it is indispensable.
